﻿Mitsubishi improves its heat-recovery ventilation system
Mitsubishi Electric has introduced a new version of its Lossnay heat-recovery ventilation system with more efficient heat recovery.
There are nine models in the RX5 series with the new Hyper Eco Lossnay core, which is more efficient and facilitates higher levels of humidity penetration to avoid the air drying out.
The pores of the new heat exchanger are smaller than before, shielding unwanted gases such as ammonia and hydrogen sulphide, whilst aiding the transfer of moisture for improved energy efficiency.
The RX5 has a new bypass function that can be controlled via external control signals or devices. Easy connection with a CO2 sensor provides control of fresh-air quantities.
A multi-ventilation mode enables the balance of supply and exhaust air to be altered to suit a wider variety of environments and locations. A night-purge setting enables indoor temperatures to be reduced overnight in the summer to reduce the cooling load the following day.
The associated new PZ-60DR-E controller offers a 4-level air-volume setting to provide exact control and further aid energy conservation.
