Hayes brings German technology to the UK

Hayes Control Systems
Building services for the 54 000 m2 Aviva office complex in Munich have been integrated with a homogenous system using Beckhoff products for Ethernet networking, DALI and radio technology.
Hayes Control Systems has introduced the Beckhoff building-automation solution to the UK market as exclusive distributor. It enables building engineers and facilities managers to control and monitor multiple systems using a single PC-based control system, eliminating the need for the parallel wiring of many different systems. Every device and variable in a building-automation system can be accessed by a single, central web-based application using any standard web browser. Existing building-management systems and fire-alarm acknowledgement can be monitored by the web-server software, along with representation of data from all connected systems. A major installation in Germany is the new 54 000 m2 Aviva office complex in Munich, which uses Beckhoff products for Ethernet networking, digital addressable lighting interfaces (DALI) and radio technology. There are over 25 000 data points, and the system can cope with 140 modifications to its layout each year.
