The world’s most efficient circulator?

wilo
The world's most energy-efficient small circulating pump — the Wilo-Stratos ECO uses just £7.50-worth of electricity in a typical single-family house [in Germany].
The Wilo-Stratos ECO high-efficiency pump has been given an 'excellent' rating by the German consumers’ association Stiftung Warentest. It came top in tests as the best in energy efficiency and ratio of price to performance compared to all other small circulating pumps. The tests suggest that over a period of 20 year in a typical single-family house, this pump would use on average about £150-worth of electricity — an average of just £7.50 a year. That figure is 23% less than the second-placed pump and 80% less than the pump that came last in these tests. A table in the test report compares the new generation of energy-efficient pumps with their predecessors, which had electricity costs in a 3-person household of £60 to £90 a year.
