Emap plans H&V show to run alongside Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Show in 2005

A new national show running alongside the RAC Show at the NEC has been launched by Emap Communications. Called H&V05, it will target the heating and ventilating sectors of the industry. The first event will be from 1 to 3 March 2005. There will be freedom of movement between the two shows. The organisers report that this new event has already received substantial support from some of the big names in the industry. They have signed up as launch partners and are helping provide essential strategic guidance. They include Applied Technology, Baxi Potterton, Camfil, Ferroli, Flakt Woods, Lochinvar, Royair, Shearflow, Systemair and Viessmann. Two trade associations, HVCA and FETA, have fully endorsed the event, which will run every other year alongside the RAC Show. Rowan Crowley, event director, says, ‘Our research indicates that the industry desperately wants a single, major exhibition that can deliver a good number of quality visitors whilst providing an excellent cross-section of the latest innovative technologies and techniques.’ Planned added-value attractions include technical seminars, live demonstrations, a skills centre and business networking areas. They will be targeted at ‘top-end’ consultants, contractors and installers working on medium- and large-scale projects. Exhibitor information is available from Jim Folley on 0208 277 5403.
