Air-conditioning and energy-solutions provider LG Electronics has appointed Space Air as a distributor to its business in the UK. It is a new company built on the foundations of Space Airconditioning Plc, which went into voluntary administration at the end of 2016. The new company is headed by Neil Afram (second from right in picture), who was managing director of the previous company.

Space Air offers national coverage from offices in Guildford and Bristol.

Thain Gummer (left), LG’s head of distribution, said, ‘This appointment is very exciting, partnering us with one of the most influential individuals in the air-conditioning marketplace.’

Neil Afram said, ‘We have been impressed by the high levels of innovation and manufacture that have been evident from LG in the last few years. They make equipment to extremely high standards and build quality, which we recognise and applaud.

‘It’s worth noting that all LG products are Eurovent certified — that’s important to us.’

‘We’re looking forward to heading into a new period of growth in the air-conditioning sector alongside LG.’
