Daikin air conditioning adds to facilities of West Midlands animal hospital

vet
As part of the comprehensive facilities in the new premises of Rosewood Animal Hospital at Coseley, Daikin air-conditioning systems have been installed.
Among the features of the Daikin air-conditioning system for an animal hospital in the West Midlands is the avoidance of cross-infection by positive fresh-air supply and extract ventilation. This is provided for the consulting rooms, pre-op room and operating theatre by Daikin VAM heat-reclaim ventilation units installed in the false ceilings of the new premises of Rosewood Animal Hospital at Coseley. Tempered fresh air is supplied by these units, with high sensible- and latent-heat reclaim reducing input energy requirements. Air conditioning is provided throughout this animal hospital using Daikin R410A heat-pump equipment. The system was designed and installed by Daikin D1 installer Intercool Systems Ltd of Stafford. Conditioned air for the reception area is supplied from an RZQ100 Sky Air Super Inverter via two ceiling cassettes, linked by small branch ducts to consulting rooms. The nurses’ area, pre-op preparation room, operating theatre and X-ray rooms are air conditioned by small duct or ceiling cassette units supplied from a 4MXS90 multi-split unit.
