CentraLine exhibits the new EagleHawk integration controller at the 2015 Niagara Forum
The 2015 Open 4 Innovation Niagara Forum held at the Hilton London Metropole in April was a well-timed event for CentraLine by Honeywell to reveal an exciting addition to its Niagara AX product range.
The forum was hosted by Tridium (a Honeywell company) and was an excellent venue for CentraLine to meet industry professionals involved in building automation and energy management. The CentraLine stand exhibiting the Hawk AX and the Lynx range of controllers was well attended by systems installers, specifiers and end users.
The keynote theme of ‘Innovation’ gave CentraLine an ideal opportunity to introduce the new EagleHawk integration controller developed and produced in CentraLine’s engineering and manufacturing facility in Germany.
The EagleHawk will be a valuable addition to CentraLine’s AX range. making it possible to extend the Niagara-based portfolio by providing hardware and software features exclusive to CentraLine Partners.
A new Niagara platform with European standard mounting form factor and powered by 24 V AC or DC, the EagleHawk is programmable with CentraLine Coach AX software and has an onboard web server and graphics.
Communication is provided by two on-board RS 485 interfaces for BACnet MSTP and Modbus RTU; there is also one IP interface. Drivers are available for LON, BACnet IP and the Honeywell Panel Bus driver.
The Panel Bus driver connectivity with Honeywell I/O modules radically reduces programming time, giving CentraLine Partners an advantage when engineering and building control panels.
