Hitachi launches high-efficiency split systems

Hitachi, air conditioning, VRF

Hitachi Air Conditioning Europe’s Utopia IVX range of air-conditioning systems is designed for medium-sized installation that do not require extensive VRF systems or heat recovery. Up to eight indoor units can be connected to an outdoor unit, with zone-by-zone individual control. Utopia IVX is ErP compliant and has A++ seasonal efficiency.

The entry-level IVX Comfort has cooling capacities from 5 to 33.5 kW.

The IVX Premium model has capacities from 7.1 to 33.5 kW and can support connection ratios of 50 to 100% of outdoor capacity. An intelligent defrost system extends the heating-operation period by up to 40% compared to standard defrosting systems.

Comfort and Premium units are compatible with Hitachi’s System Free indoor units from 2 to 31 kW in multi-connection installations as well as the KPI-Energy heat-recovery systems.
