Slimline PIR detector is only 4 mm thick

Steinel, PIR detector, lighting control

Steinel’s ceiling-mounted IR Quattro Slim PIR presence detector protrudes just 4 mm from the ceiling, giving a virtually flat profile. It has a square presence-detection range of 3 x 3 m and tangential direction of up to 5 x 5 m. When mounted on a ceiling, its visible dimensions are just 76 mm square.

The newly developed Fresnel structure of the retina lens allows for a completely flat surface that also produces outstanding PIR sensor detection.

An integral photocell gives variable light-level control from 10 to 1000 lx.

Designed for use indoors, the IR Quattro Slim can be mounted at a height of up to 6 m. It can be used in master/slave and master/master configurations and also in semi-automatic mode so that users switch on lights manually but they are turned off automatically.

Option available include COM1, COM2, DIM and KNX.
