Initiating the Green Deal in the commercial sector

Inteb Sustainability, which specialises in low-energy and sustainable solutions reports a significant number of enquiries from commercial real-estate portfolio holders wishing to take advantage of it being one of the first two accredited Green Deal providers, pioneering the initiative in the commercial sector.

The company can use its experience in commercial real estate to help owners of commercial property determine their Green Deal Strategy to optimise the benefits accruing from Green Deal energy upgrades. They include lowering operational costs as much as possible, enhancing the value of assets and improving carbon-emissions performance.

Executive chairman Philip Hargreaves said, ‘We are one of only two organisations fully accredited as a Green Deal provider within the commercial real-estate sector and have an ambassadorial role and a duty to ensure that landlords understand how the Green Deal operates and what it means to them and their tenants.’
