Saifor cooling systems for data centres are now available in the UK from Cool-Therm

Cool-Therm has been appointed a UK distributor for Saifor, which specialises in cooling for data centres. The agreement covers Saifor’s full range, which includes data-centre racks, in-row coolers, hot- and cold-aisle containment, intelligent power-distribution units and monitoring systems. For energy efficiency, systems have fans with EC motors and inverter technology.

Aisle containment is a more efficient approach than up-flow/down-flow cooling systems, as cooling is applied directly to the racks rather than the entire data centre.

Saifor also supplies modular raised-floor systems with floor voids of up to 2 m on bespoke projects to enable cabling and pipework to be run, repaired and maintained without disturbing the operation of the data centre.
