The latest additions to Lochinvar’s EcoKnight range of water-heaters have been installed in Luton Sixth Form College.

Lochinvar has won a £43 000 contract to supply water-heating products from its recently expanded EcoKnight range to Luton Sixth Form College. The contract includes four EcoKnight gas-fired condensing water heaters and four storage tanks for blocks five and eight at the college on Bradgers Hill Road in Luton.

The equipment was specified by the London office of Spie Matthew Hall to provide hot water for all showering and hand washing in the main building and sports sections.

David Pepper, managing director of Lochinvar, says, ‘ The new output models were only launched in January, so it is great news that they’ve already been specified for this upgrade project. The installation of high-efficiency gas-fired condensing equipment can play a significant part in the challenge to reduce carbon emissions, and our extended product range can provide some great solutions for both new build and refurbishment projects such as this.’
