Educational enlightenment — lighting connection and control solutions have been installed throughout this new building of Tresham Institute in Kettering.
The installation benefits of Flex Connectors’ solutions for lighting connection and control have resulted in the use of its Flex 7 range throughout the new £20 million single campus of Tresham Institute at Kettering. This 4-storey winged building uses over 3500 individual items of lighting connection and control equipment installed by Briggs & Forrester. Clive Evans, a project engineer with Briggs & Forrester, says, ‘The Flex 7 lighting connection and controls range gave us everything we needed to meet the client brief, as well as satisfying our own criteria for easy and straightforward installation.’ The use of Flex 7 absence detectors ensures that lights are not left on in empty rooms or areas, while providing the option of manual control.
