Star Refrigeration seminars take to the road again

Star Refrigeration

Star Refrigeration’s National Roadshow is hitting the road again in October, and the locations have been unveiled. Senior management members will be delivering free CPD sessions in Sheffield, Bristol, Glasgow, and London as part of the tour.

Offering free industry advice, the event aims to raise awareness of the most common issues affecting the refrigeration and heating industry today. Engineering experts from Star Refrigeration will address important topics such as F-gas regulations, energy efficiency, natural refrigerants, waste heat and regulatory updates. The 2017 Roadshow kicks off on 17th October in Sheffield at the Magna Science Centre, then travels to Bristol at the Aerospace Museum on 18th October. The Star team will then deliver seminars in London on 19th October at the Canada Water Culture Space before completing the tour at the Science Museum in Glasgow on 25th October.

Each event will start at 8.30 am with breakfast followed by five CPD presentations and Q&A sessions. The seminars will aim to finish by 11am and there will then be an hour for customers to arrange meetings with members of the Star team for further discussion.

The topics of the seminars have been decided by end users who registered their interest, with Star selecting the most popular issues raised. The twenty minute sessions will cover legal compliance, F-gas phase down, aftercare and condition based monitoring and heat recovery. After the seminars, attendees who have registered for the surgery will have the chance to have a one-to-one session with a Star expert.

Dr Rob Lamb, group sales and marketing director says:“We are really excited to meet cooling owners and stakeholders from a range of different industries. It’s important for all businesses to stay up to date with industry changes and recommendations, and the Star Roadshow is the perfect opportunity – and it’s free to attend”

The 2017 Roadshow follows a successful similar event in 2013, where Star’s senior management team visited Glasgow, Leeds and Reading to share their knowledge and expertise. The national roadshow attracted delegates from the public sector, building services, healthcare, construction contractors, the energy sector and food and drink production and distribution.
