‘Over and out’ for Marco Walkie-Talkie specification

Marco Cable Management, Shard, cable tray
Marco’s steel-wire cable tray has been installed in London’s Walkie-Talkie building.

Marco has supplied steel-wire cable tray for the Walkie-Talkie building at 20 Fenchurch Street in London. This 36-storey building will provide over 59 000 m2 of office space, with retail outlets at ground level and a public sky with a panoramic view over the city.

Simon Kowalski, key accounts manager with Marco, said, ‘This is a really complex and impressive scheme that stands apart from London’s other skyscraper structures. Whilst the building has a lot of impressive sustainable credentials in terms of maximising energy efficiency, there is still a strong demand for a huge cabling infrastructure.

‘Marco’s steel-wire cable tray is able to meet the technical demands of the scheme whilst providing the right aesthetic finish for this ultra-modern and clean environment.’
