Multi-service chilled beams have integrated sensors and controls

Lindab, air conditioning, multi service chilled beams

Lindab’s eHybrid multi-service chilled-beam system includes a number of sensors to reduce heating/cooling, ventilation and lighting in unoccupied spaces. A report by independent testing institute WSP indicates that eHybrid can achieve savings of up to 34% compared to typical chilled-beam installations.

The product has been designed from the outset to integrate the provision and control of ventilation, heating, cooling and lighting in a single plug-and-play product. Installation is simplified, saving cost and space. These beams integrate PIR and CO2 sensors, water valves, airflow regulators and also offer the option of DALI lighting controls — without compromising aesthetics.
