Reduced emissions — six Remeha fully modulating condensing boilers have been supplied by Broag for major refurbishment work in a hotel at Lytham St Anne’s.
High-efficiency condensing boilers have been installed as part of refurbishment work at the Dalmeny Hotel in Lytham St Anne’s. The work included the conference and leisure facilities of this prestigious hotel, upgrading the swimming pool and the installation of a new spa. A key part of the programme was the closure of four satellite boiler houses and the remodelling of the building to create a single, central plantroom. This houses six Remeha Gas 210 condensing boilers with a total output of 1160 kW, supplied by Broag. George Jackson, director of installer T. Jolly Services of Preston, says, ‘The high overall energy efficiency of these boilers results in cost savings as well as cutting carbon emissions. The boilers were delivered completely assembled and pre-set. They have intelligent controls and 100% premix combustion, enabling output to be modulated down to 10% of full output.
