Ventilation training for contractors

Titon, MVHR, Part F, ventilation

Titon, which manufactures whole-house ventilation systems, has introduced a new training course certified by BPEC and offered at its purpose-designed ventilation centre at Haverhill in Suffolk. The company strongly advocates that anyone installing and maintaining whole-house ventilation systems should attend this course to reduce the need for remedial work, which is said to be a common problem for contractors new to the technology.

This 2-day course has been developed with the aim of providing electricians, plumbers, heating engineers and ventilation engineers with the knowledge and skills to correctly install and commission domestic ventilation systems. It covers installation, inspection, commissioning and handover of the four common ventilation systems defined in Part F (intermittent fans, passive stacks, mechanical and MVHR).
