Intelligent electric heating gives enhanced SAP scores

Creda’s Eco-Response intelligent electric heating technology has been developed to help meet the requirements of Part L of the 2006 Building Regulations and give enhanced SAP scores. It is an integrated storage, direct-acting heating system with simple, yet sophisticated one-touch electronic controls. It is said to provide a good solution for housing associations and builders.

These heaters are designed to give constant low-level background heating that can be boosted on demand at any time. The fabric of the building therefore does not cool down completely, so reheating to comfort level is quicker.

Off-peak electricity is used for stored background heating, with radiant heating used to raise the temperature quickly on demand.

Finished in white with a grey base, these heaters are no bigger than conventional wet radiators.

There are three models, with outputs of 700 W, 1 kW and 2 kW. They can be supported with an optional 4-zone pilot wire central controller that provides 7-day programming of comfort/setback time settings to multiple pilot wire linked heaters in up to four zones.
