EMS wireless fire protection for The Monument in London

EMS Wireless
A wireless fire-protection system has been installed as part of the refurbishment of The Monument in London

As part of the £4.5 million refurbishment of The Monument in the City of London, EMS Group has provided a wireless fire-detection solution. The EMS system was specified by the architect and M&E consultant.

The 5000 FirePoint system eliminates the need for expensive fire-rated cable and the potentially damaging installation works often associated with wired systems.

The system was installed by MPE Alarms and consists of a main fire panel, combined fire sensor/sounder units and call points. Sensors do not have external aerials and have built-in replaceable power packs with a life of up to five years.
