Trox supplies air diffusers for Glasgow Airport refurbishment

Trox air diffusers
Trox air diffusers feature in the refurbishment of Glasgow Airport following the terrorist incident of 2007.

Following the fire caused by the terrorist incident at Glasgow Airport in 2007, Trox has supplied replacement diffusers for the air-distribution system.

The fire damaged the exterior of the building and large areas inside. In particular, the air-distribution system that supplies fresh air and extract air was heavily damaged by smoke.

The ceiling in the departure area of the main terminal had to be removed and all associated services replaced and brought back to the standard required to provide good air distribution to the space.

Trox UK worked with WSP Consultants of Glasgow to supply replacement diffusers, that were installed and commissioned by Crown House.
