Hamworthy pumps up the pressure

Hamworthy
The Chesil range of pumped pressurisation units from Hamworthy is available in wall-hung and floor-standing versions.
Hamworthy Heating has introduced an extensive range of pumped pressurisation units. It includes floor-standing and wall-hung models suitable for heating and chilling systems in commercial buildings. The Chesil range of units dispenses with the need for storing a large volume of water in a tank at high level to create the system head. They also save space, reduce costs and remove the need for pipework from the header tank to the plant room. Pumped pressurisation units also remove dependence on mains water pressure to create the system head. Chesil units are available for systems with cold-fill pressures up to 3.4 bar. There is a choice of standard or electronic controls, and all models are compatible with building-management systems. The three floor-standing models include a twin-pump electronic version which can be used in a duty/standby arrangement. The three wall-hung models include a model to maintain system pressure in a solar-collector circuit. The glycol mix in a solar hydraulic circuit can be maintained via the break tank to ensure the circuit is always topped up and the pressure maintained.
