EWS maintenance service is Going Places
Contributing to the smooth running of some 600 branches of travel agent Going Places is a comprehensive service and maintenance package provided by Eaton-Williams Service.
Some 600 outlets outlets of travel agent Going Places in the UK and Ireland are covered by a service-and-maintenance package provided by mobile engineers from Eaton-Williams Service. No two sites have the same building services, since they have been acquired through a number of acquisitions. Some sites are air conditioned, while others have partial heating supplemented by heaters on the wall or in-wall units with heat-pump options. Air conditioning in many of the sites is via single split systems. The focus of the contract is preventive work, but remedial repairs are also carried out and potential problems highlighted so that new components and/or systems can be installed when necessary. Because of the nature of the business of Going Places and the diversity of its sites, its requirements are best addressed and responded to swiftly using a team of mobile engineers, with support provided by area managers and the call centre of EWS. Where possible,particular engineers are allocated to specific sites to provide continuity and maximise their effectiveness whilst on site. Emergency call-out is provided as part of the package, with assistance provided within four hours and within three hours for more sensitive sites. Colin Mitchell, national sales manager for EWS, says, ‘This is a major contract for EWS, which justifies out investment in developing a network of engineers and highlights our capabilities to deliver a truly national service.’
