Replacing heating under fixed seats in this dining room at the training site of Bolton Wanderers’ with Dunham Bush fan convectors has made much more space available.
The newly refurbished dining room at Bolton Wanders’ training complex is heated by CM fan convectors from Dunham Bush. The units were selected for their small footprint, high heating capacity and low-noise operation. The training facility is on the site of an old ordnance factory, and the dining room dated back to the factory’s social club — with heating provided by heat emitters under fixed seating. The room has been refurbished to create more space, and the work included removing the fixed seating and installing new fan convectors. Ian Bridge of consulting engineers Bridge Consulting Services explains, ‘The purpose of the project was to maximise the floor space available, so we wanted a heating solution with a high heating capacity, small footprint and a discreet appearance that would blend in with the decor.’ The CMSA fan convectors selected for the project use a standard airflow with front discharge at high level and recirculation at low level
