Commtech develops web access for end-user documents
Web-based access to a wide range of documentation held at its documentation unit in Manchester is now provided by Commtech Group.
Commissioning and maintenance specialist Commtech offers a web-based documentation service as part of its engineering support services. It is seen as a vital element in its after-sales care, leading to high levels of repeat business. The documentation unit is based at Manchester. Its services include O&M manuals, operators’ guides, Part L log books, technical leaflets, training manuals, commissioning manuals, installation manuals, technical bulletins and handbooks — all of which are produced to BSRIA standards or client specifications. The availability of O&M manuals is of particular importance to the building-services sector to establish high levels of customer service for end users. Commtech’s service of O&M manuals has been developed as a complete solution to cover all aspects — from planning and design through to production. Regional director Nigel Hersee explains ‘The new electronic format will result in significant time and space savings. It is more environmentally friendly, it means reduced storage for clients, and it provides quicker access to information’ enquiry@commtechgroup.co.uk
