Electric boiler provides simple wet-heating solution

Redring
Electric central-heating boiler that is easy to install and operate — the Redring Hotbox.
The Redring Hotbox electric boiler provides economical heating where space is limited or gas is unavailable. These boilers drive sealed wet systems in light-commercial or domestic situations. They can deliver a flow temperature of 60°C to eight radiators against an outside temperature of 0°C. Hotbox uses halogen technology and meets or exceeds Building Regulations requirements for conventional wet systems. Pipes are connected using push fittings, and a Hotbox simply plugs into a wall socket and draws 7.7 A. Halogen infra-red heating elements are located in specially designed copper housings, and each element is fitted directly onto the copper heat exchanger. There are models with six or 10 elements. There is no flue, so all energy is converted to heat. Unlike a gas boiler, there is no need for an annual maintenance check. Hotbox boilers incorporate all components needed for sealed systems: pressure gauge; pressure-relief valve; expansion vessel; circulating pump; manual-reset overheat thermostat and manual air vent. Two controls are fitted. One manages water temperature, and the other is a simple on/off switch.
