CSA Announces Further Postponement of its ‘Making Buildings Work’ Conference

Making Buildings Work conference postponed

The Making Buildings Work conference has been postponed to the 23rd of March, 2021

The CSA Management Committee has made the difficult decision to further postpone the CSA’s 'Making Buildings Work' Conference, which had already been rescheduled from its original date.

CSA Chairman, Mark Todd, said: “Unfortunately, despite the recent relaxing of certain 'lockdown' restrictions, a concern still remains that the on-going requirement for social distancing in some form or other, might adversely affect the event, if staged in September. We are of course extremely disappointed that we are unable to maintain this date for the many of you that have already booked and retained your places, but we know it’s the right decision, based on the information available to us at this time.”

He continued: “Of course we all hope that the Government will be in a position to make further adjustments to the current measures as quickly as possible, allowing businesses and their staff to begin the economic recovery, but we also have to be pragmatic in both our endeavours and planning.”

The event will now take place in exactly the same format and at the same venue on Tuesday 23rd March 2021, by which time it is hoped that the public health measures and the personal sacrifices we’ve all made over the past few months will have had the desired effect, and life will have returned to some semblance of normality. This further postponement again allows for any existing engagement with the event to simply roll forward to this new March 2021 date, when the exact same event will be delivered, and supported by the same complement of Speakers and Sponsors.

Mark added: “Please do reach out to us should you need any further information on this event, or indeed its postponement, but given these extraordinary times, we trust that this rescheduling will meet with your full understanding.

For those who have not yet secured their place, delegate fees have been set at just £95.00 +VAT per person, which includes all refreshments and a buffet lunch.  For more information, including the full programme, and to book your place, please visit the website – www.csa-conference.co.uk - or call/email the CSA office on +44 (0)1403 754133 or office@csa.org.uk.
