Heating a play centre is child’s play for Powrmatic

heater
A single 60 kW Powrmatic heater installed at high level in a children’s play centre has replaced an inadequate radiator-based heating system.
When a heating system comprising a combi boiler and radiators was proving inadequate to heat 300 m2 of activity area for children in Clown Around in Chorley, heating contractor Walker Adamson of Bolton proposed replacing the old system with a single Powrmatic NV heater. This warm-air heater was installed at high level and not only provides comfortable heating for the children’s play area but also eliminates the need for potentially hazardous radiators mounted at low level on the walls. The suspended NV60F suspended unit has an output of 60 kW and qualified for Enhanced Capital Allowances. Clown Around is the brainchild of Debbie Scott and provides a bright, exciting activity-based leisure facility for children in Chorley. It is based in a converted mill.
