CP Electronics provides energy-efficient lighting control for Karcher UK

CP electronics, lighting, control

Lighting-control solutions for the new 7850 m2 headquarters at Banbury of cleaning-technology brand Karcher UK were devised by CP Electronics. The building has a wide range of requirements for its various areas — including offices, an academy, retail centre, warehouse and workshop areas.

Consultant Ridge & Partners of Woodstock specified the use of CP Electronics’ controls in the office space.

In particular, the Vitesse Plus lighting-control module and microwave presence/absence detectors were used to minimise energy use and fine tune the lighting provision to its surroundings.

The electrical installer and designer was HWM Building Services; Tony Howard comments, ‘Key benefits are the ease of installation and range of options that come with CP Electronics’ components. The ability to configure the Vitesse Plus lighting-control module in a range of combinations means that we can provide exactly what our client wants. The fact that the products are so easy to install is another bonus and helps the job go smoothly.’
