JTL opens its fourth training centre

JTL, a leading provider of work-based learning, has opened its fourth dedicated training centre, It is next to the company’s headquarters at Orpington and adds to facilities in Birmingham, Norwich and South Yorkshire. It was opened by local MP Jo Johnson in the presence of the Mayor of Bromley Borough, Councillor Kim Botting.

The new centre provides training facilities for electrical apprentices, with a capacity of provide training for 250 learners.

Jo Johnson highlighted the importance of apprenticeships to the UK and said, ‘The Government is committed to raising the quantity and quality of apprenticeships to address the skills gap and meet the need for qualified electricians and other tradesmen that are so vital to this country’s on-going success.’
