T-mac adds features to its online capabilities

New features added to t-mac Technologies online software suite include alerting specifications, dynamic diagrams and mapping technologies. The new alerting portal enables alerts to be set up against energy profiles and consumption targets, as well as equipment performance, diagnostics and fault codes, through a dashboard interface. Not only can equipment faults be spotted as they arise, but early warnings can be provided about potential energy-efficiency issues.

Date collected by t-mac is in real time, so alerts are sent to users as issues arise.

The software enables users to display alerts from multiple activities and sites and categorise them according to severity and filter them for ease of management. Alerts can be sent as text messages and/or emails.

The dynamic-diagrams feature enables users to upload floor plans, equipment schematics, graphics or pictures of buildings and place icons on them to show where the energy metering and BMS is installed — with readings shown in real time.

Another new product is mapping technology. Buildings are plotted on a map, and the hover-over feature provides information on the building location and operating hours. It also provides a quick link into that buildings BMS software and its controls strategy.
