Premier installation at Norwich City stadium

Imofa, AHU
Fresh air, heated as required, is supplied for a new kitchen ventilation system at Norwich City’s ground by this bespoke air-handling unit from Imofa.

Imofa has supplied a bespoke air-handling unit for a new kitchen-ventilation system at the stadium of Norwich City Football Club in Carrow Road, Norwich. The new system serves the Jarrold Stand kitchen, which caters for the Top of the City dining room (the Darren Huckerby Club on match days) and the executive boxes in the Jarrold Stand.

This AHU is on the roof of the Jarrold stand and has a gas heating module. The previous roof fan boxes supplied unheated fresh air directly to the kitchen.

The design and installation was carried out as a turnkey project by M&E Bartech Technical Services, which specialises in commercial kitchens and ventilation. M&E installed the AHU, new ductwork and associated gas and controls systems.

Following the success of this project, two more systems using Imofa AHUs are being installed to serve the Norfolk Lounge and Top of the Terrace kitchens in the Barclay Stand.
