Oxfordshire school installs natural ventilation and daylight

Midtherm Engineering has installed eight of its recently launched X-Stream natural-ventilation terminals at Kings School in Witney. They provide natural ventilation and daylight to corridor areas.

These GRP units are Class 1 fire retardant and self contained so they can be bought and installed by building companies.

X-Stream can be used as a natural ventilator, a ventilator with additional natural lighting units using Litepipes or as a passive unit with solar-powered boost extract fan using solar energy to power an integral ABS plastic fan unit.

Control systems can operate in standalone mode or be integrated with a BMS. Night cooling can be provided.
