Levolux is put on the case for North Kent Police

Levolux
Reducing solar gain and providing good natural daylight in this new police station is Levolux solar shading.

The £30 million North Ken Police Station in Northfleet is one of the latest applications of the Levolux solar-shading system. The 11 500 m2 development replaces aged and cramped facilities in Gravesend and Dartford.

To maintain the working environment at optimum temperature and provide good levels of natural daylight, Levolux proposed a solar-shading system using 200 mm aluminium fins, walk-on Brise Soleil and a support structure. This solar shading minimises the need for air conditioning.
