A user interface that will be instantly familiar ó Trendís IQView touch-screen display.

The look, feel and operation of the IQView4 touch-screen display for Trend building-management systems will be familiar to anyone with an MP3 player, sat-nav system or modern mobile phone. Learning to use it should come as second nature to most facilities managers and building-services engineers.

The 109 mm backlit colour display provides an operator interface that can be used with most Trend BMS controllers and connects directly to the controllerís supervisor port. Since it will normally be installed in plant rooms, it has been designed for panel mounting.

On-screen icons and buttons give raid access to all controller inputs, outputs directories and alarms. Logged data can be viewed as graphs. Adjustments are just as easily accomplished. Different password levels enable access rights to be tailored to the needs of individual users.

Once connected to an IQ controller, this display automatically learns and stores the set up in its database. The unit can be programmed to give access to preferred screen pages.

A USB port is provided for firmware upgrades or exporting the database as an SQL file.

Trend is planning to develop a larger version of this display, capable of monitoring and managing a complete BMS.
