Increased car park safety and lower costs with addressable gas detector

The new Crowcon Hydra addressable gas detection system provides a novel way of detecting toxic gasses such as CO2, NOx and petrol vapour from vehicle exhausts in underground car parks. The Crowcon Hydra allows car-park ventilation fans to be run only when needed, and addressable systems like Hydra cost less to install than conventional point-to-point systems, with a single control unit capable of monitoring up to 120 separate gas-detector heads. Electrochemical sensors provide much superior performance compared with semiconductor detectors, with dramatically reduced false alarms.
