TRV sensor snaps into position on its valve

Danfoss, heating, radiator, TRV, thermostatic radiator valve

Fitting Danfoss RA 2000 thermostatic radiator valves, which feature rapid-reaction gas-filled sensors, is now twice as fast with the new snap-lock connection. Once the valve cover has been removed, the sensor is pressed firmly into position to activate the snap-lock mechanism. The sensor can be removed by turning the snap-on ring anti-clockwise.

Sensors and valve bodies are packaged separately so they can be mixed and matched for any duty. Some models have anti-theft protection clips to block the ‘snap’ mechanism — a useful feature in generally accessible public buildings.
