Recolight expands recycling service for lamps

Recolight, lamp recycling

Recolight has halved the number of old lamps that businesses have to collect to qualify for its free recycling service. The new requirement is for 1000 lamps every three months. The free service includes containers, collection and recycling, and consignment notes.

Nigel Harvey, Recolight’s chief executive, says, ‘Expanding access to waste-lamp recycling is very important to us. By lowering the threshold and allowing more business to become collection points, we hope that as many lamps as possible will be recycled.’
