Pegler launches Tectite TMVs

Pegler, TMV, domestic hot water, DHW

Pegler has added thermostatic mixing valves to its Tectite range of push-fit plumbing fittings. They can be connected to copper, stainless steel, PE-X and polybutylene pipes. These TMVs are available for pipes sizes of 15 and 22 mm and supplied with strainers and non-return valves. A tamper-proof cap prevents unauthorised adjustment of the temperature setting, which is preset to 43°C.

These TX405 inline TMS are combined TMV3 and TMV2 compact mixing valves that meet the requirements of NHS Model Engineering Specification DO8. In addition, they are third-party approved through Buildcert.

They also meet the EN 1111 and EN 1287 standard, so they can be used for domestic baths in new-build properties as required by Part G of the Building Regulations.
