SDH completes fire-damper project for Proctor & Gamble

SDH Building Services has completed the technically demanding project of replacing a fire-damper control system for Proctor & Gamble’s premises at Brooklands in Surrey. Managing director Steven Hunt explains, ‘It was a live project, meaning that we had to work around employees in offices, which tested our logistical and organisational skills. There was not a single complaint from staff during the work.’

The project took eight weeks and means that in the event of a fire, any smoke will be prevented from passing through corridors so that employees can leave the building more easily and safely.
